A Facebook post featuring photos of a handwritten letter went viral recently in Malaysia. 

The letter was written by a man, named Lee Hui Sen, who bought a house that was on auction. After paying the down payment, he went to check out the house only to be shocked to see children's clothes being hung out to dry. The house belonged to a family whose father lost his job and couldn't pay the monthly installment. 

Mr. Lee's heart went out to the family, so he decided to give up buying the house. This meant that the RM44,500 down payment he put was forfeited, but Mr. Lee didn't mind. 

He then left a letter to the family, apologising for buying their house and causing them unnecessary worrying. He told them that he decided to give up the house so that they won't be forced to leave. He also advised the family to restructure their loans to avoid situations like this in the future. 

The letter has been shared more than 3,000 times on Facebook. We're sure Mr. Lee's heart of gold and good deed will not be forgotten by the family.
