Chelsea and Arsenal make Europa League final

Its going to be an all-English final in the Europa League!

Chelsea booked their place after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 4-3 on penalties in the second leg of their semifinal.

Eden Hazard netted the winning spot-kick.

The match at Stamford Bridge this morning ended 1-1, leaving the tie level at 2-all on aggregate after extra-time.

The Blues will go on to face Arsenal, who beat Valencia 4-2 this morning, to complete a 7-3 victory on aggregate. 

Pierre-Americk Aubemayang was the hero for the Gunners this morning with a hattrick...while Alexandre Lacazette added the other.

This is also the first time that both the Europa League and Champions League finals will be contested by clubs from the same country.

Liverpool will be taking on Tottenham in the Champions League final.

Suarez to miss final

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines because he needs a knee operation.

It means he will likely miss Barca's Copa Del Rey final against Valencia later this month.

Nicol marches on

Datuk Nicol David has made the second round of the Manchester Squash Open, with a comfortable win over Haley Mendez of the US. 

The national squash queen will next face world number six Sarah-Jane Perry.

The Manchester event is Nicol's penultimate tournament, after which she'll make one final appearance at the British Open later this month before retiring.
