MU reach agreement for Ralf Rangnick to become interim boss

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Lokomotiv Moscow for Ralf Rangnik to become United's interim manager.

Rangnik's deal is not yet complete, as the former RB Leipzig boss needs to be granted a work permit

However, an official announcement is expected to be made soon for Rangnik to take interim charge until the end of the season.

The deal comes with a further two-year consultancy role at United.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes Man United will be in good hands with Ralf Rangnick, if United manage to appoint him as interim manager.

Klopp praised the former RB Leipzig boss as an outstanding coach, but his appointment could spell trouble for other teams.

United have reached an agreement with Lokomotiv Moscow for Rangnik to take interim charge at the club until the end of the season, subject to being granted a work permit.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says Ngolo Kante will likely miss their EPL clash against Man United on Monday.

This, after Kante suffered a minor knee injury.

However, Tuchel expects Kante to be fully fit early next month.
