Kalakkal Kaalai is set out to make a difference for poor families this Deepavali! Be a part of their efforts this celebration and donate what you can to help reduce the burden of the following families:

 

Case 1: Nagaraju Muniady
Nagaraju Muniady, of Kapar, is a father of 3 children and has been an OKU for 7 years. Living with his mother, his wife helps provide for the family as a cleaner at a restaurant.

Case 2: Thanaletcumy Sangapillai
Thanaletcumy Sangapillai is a single mother based in Taman Intan. Juggling between caring for her beautiful 18-year-old OKU son, and her brother (also OKU), she earns a living and provide for everyone through a small home business, selling clothes. Every month, she must do whatever it takes to ensure she has the RM500 monthly rent to keep a roof over their heads.

Case 3: Muthuveeran Rajalingam
Muthuveeran Rajalingam from Kapar, is a critically ill patient, with 4 children who are studying, and an unemployed wife. Like most of their days, the source of income is uncertain. What is certain, however, is the monthly RM450 rent for the home they live in.

Case 4: Maruthaveeran Doraisamy
As if life as a heart patient isn’t difficult enough, imagine the challenge of providing for 7 children? Such is the daily challenge faced by Maruthaveeran Doraisamy, whose home is built on Tanah Rezab.

Case 5: Saraswathy Kuppan
Saraswathy Kuppan is a single mother of 9 children, providing for their growing wants and needs on a RM900 salary drawn every month. As anyone can imagine, the challenge and demands required to raise her children are truly a daily challenge.

Collection Date: 19th October 2019

Collection Time: 3pm – 5pm

Venue: Lulu Hypermarket and Departmental Store, Capsquare, Masjid India, KL.

Some of the families are in need of the following items:
Ensure Gold (milk powder), disposable diapers (XL size), lotion and wet tissues.
