TripAdvisor just released their list of the top 10 Destinations on the Rise, with a list for the world overall and different regions. 

Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, and George Town are listed as part of the top 10 Destinations on the Rise in Asia.

Kuching is ranked at number eight, described as a destination for learning and leisure as the city has many museums for travellers to visit. The Sarawak capital is followed by the capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, known for being near to Malaysia's highest peak Mount Kinabalu. Final on the list is the history-rich city George Town.
