"I believe authenticity comes from staying true to who you are and remembering why you started your journey in the first place. I constantly learn from experiences, people and new trends, but I always try to maintain my own identity and style while evolving creatively," she explains.

Having witnessed the evolution of the local entertainment landscape, Gayathri is optimistic about the future of the Malaysian Tamil music industry.

"What makes our industry special is the passion, unity and originality that artists bring into their work. Today, musicians are experimenting with different genres while still keeping our Tamil roots and culture alive. Digital platforms have also helped local talents gain recognition not only in Malaysia but internationally as well," she says.
