Mo Salah has become the first Liverpool player to score 20 or more goals for the club for seven consecutive seasons.

The Egyptian forward smashed a 37-year-old record, which was previously held by Anfield legend Ian Rush, who managed six seasons in a row.

Salah scored the record-breaking goal during the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie with Sparta Prague, which ended in a 6-1 victory for Reds.

It saw Liverpool wrap up the tie with an 11-2 aggregate win to advance to the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile, West Ham, AC Milan, Benfica, Marseille, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, and Roma have also advanced into the last eight.

---

Elsewhere, Aston Villa have made the quarters of the Europa Conference League...beating Ajax 4-0 this morning and on aggregate.

---

Barcelona are reportedly interested in Liverpool's Luis Diaz.

However, sources say its unlikely the financially-troubled Catalan side will be able to afford the move...with the Reds expected to slap a 100 million pounds price tag on the winger to prevent him from leaving.

---

Three Malaysian reps – Lee Zii Jia... Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik... and Pearly Tan/M Thinaah will be in quarterfinal action today at the All England badminton Championships.

---

And, world tennis number one Iga Swiatek has reached the semi-finals at Indian Wells, after Caroline Wozniacki retired from their quarterfinal match due to injury.
