malaysians reach all-england final!

Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik have reached their second-ever final at the All-England badminton championships!  

This is after the Malaysian men’s doubles pair defeated their Taiwanese opponents and will now face the Indonesian duo of Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Rian Ardianto.  

Aaron and Wooi Yik previously played in the All England final in 2019, where they ended as runners-up.

Pep Guardiola has hailed his special Man City team after they made FA Cup history last night.  

This is after they defeated Newcastle 2-0 at home to become the first team to reach the semis for 6 consecutive seasons.  

Championship division club Coventry defeated Wolves 3-2 in their FA Cup quarterfinal.

The PM says the government will conduct a thorough study and consult with all parties before deciding on whether to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games.  

Malaysia was offered to become the host, following the withdrawal of Victoria, Australia.

Malaysia's Mohamad Azeem Fahmi has won the 100m bronze medal at a track meet in the US city of Atlanta, with a time of 10.38 seconds. 

Azeem, who's representing Auburn University, also won gold in the 4x100m event.
