Salah Scores On Injury Return

Feb 18, 2024

salah scores on injury return

Mo Salah scored on his return from injury to help Liverpool beat Brentford 4-1 in the Premier League.

Darwin Nunez, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo also found the back of the net, to give Liverpool a 2-point lead over 2nd placed Arsenal, who crushed Burnley 5-0.

But the bad news is that Liverpool's injury list has lengthened, after Nunez, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota had to be substituted.

--

Meanwhile, Man City's 11-match winning streak has ended after they drew 1-all with Chelsea at the Etihad stadium.

This means that City are down to 3rd place in the standings, 4 points off the top four with a game in hand.

--

Man United will try to claim a 5th straight win in all competitions, when they travel to Luton in tonight's Premier League match.

A win will also see United reducing their gap with the top-four to just 5 points.

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw could be fit to face Luton, following his precautionary substitution in their recent game against Aston Villa.

--

And the Malaysian men's team will look to defend their title, when they face China in today's Badminton Asia Team Championship final.

Our squad reached the final after beating Japan 3-1 in the semis, while China had a 3-2 victory over South Korea.
