Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced that Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya will be placed under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from midnight 14 October to 27 October 2020 and the entire state of Sabah will be placed under CMCO from 13 October until 26 October 2020.

cmco : what you need to know !

Here are things that you should know while undergoing CMCO.

1. Residents of Klang Valley will only be permitted to pass checkpoints in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya for work, economic, or industrial purposes. Public would need to show a work pass or employment letter at the police roadblocks to cross between Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya when traveling for work.

2. Dine-ins are not permitted during the CMCO, only takeaways and drive-throughs are allowed.

3. During CMCO you are also prohibited from jogging or cycling in public areas.

4. Only two people from a household are allowed to go out to buy necessities.

5. All schools, institutions of higher learning, skills training institutes, kindergartens, nurseries, places of worship, public parks and recreation centers will be closed.

6. All sports, recreational, social and cultural activities, including marriage and engagement receptions, are not allowed.

7. Entertainment centres and nightclubs are also prohibited from operating during the CMCO in the Klang Valley.

8. Restaurants, eateries, and fuel stations are allowed to operate from 6 am until 6 pm only.

9. E-hailing, taxi and food delivery services are allowed from 6 am until 8 pm only.

10.Pharmacies and drug stores will operate from 6 am until 6 pm only

11. Public clinics and hospitals will be allowed to function for 24 hours.

We have flattened the curve once, we can do it again! Remember to follow all the SOPs set by the government. Let’s do our part in the fight against COVID-19.

cmco : what you need to know !

We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction that there is a better tomorrow, a better world, beyond the horizon. A shout out to everyone who's trying their best! #WeAreFrontliners #IdhuvumKadandhuPogum
