After the 2019 blockbuster Asuran staring Dhanush, Manju Warrier, Teejay, Ken Karunas, Pasupathy, and others in crucial roles, the ace director announced that his next film will star actor Soori in the lead and it would be based on a poem by the late lyricist Na. Muthukumar.
However due to the pandemic situation Vetrimaaran changed the script and is now producing the movie himself. The movie is based on Jeyamohan's short story Thunaivan.
The yet-to-be titled project has now added an exciting line of cast and crew, Isaignani Ilaiyaraja will be scoring music for the movie while veteran actor and director Bharathiraja has been roped in for a prominent role.
This would be the first time the trio is working together. Film lovers could definitely look forward to something amazing from this movie. It was reported that the film will be based on an Indian rural backdrop.
