We often think we need to give up our full time jobs to live a travel lifestyle. However, there are at least two people in the world who would tell you that is not true.

For Prasanna Veeraswamy and Sangeetha Ranganath, the world is their home. Having traveled to every country on the planet—193 by UN count—Prasanna married his college sweetheart who has travelled to 168 countries.

Deciding to not purchase a home or have children, the couple found the time and resources to holiday around the world while holding down full-time jobs.

Their journey began in 1998 with their first international flight when they decided to move to the US from India. Since then, the couple has lived in various countries such as Taiwan, China, Thailand, Singapore and is now based in Kuala Lumpur! Yes, you read that right.

The couples are currently working full-time tech jobs while still travelling the world as progressive tech companies allow for working remotely and keeping flexible hours.

For the first 12 years, the couple travelled during long weekends in the US calendar. For the past 7 to 8 years however, the couple have been pulling quite a feat of 8 to 10 trips annually.

The duo has rafted down the Zamberi river in Africa, hiked up Nicaragua and ash-boarded back down, went snow sledding in Antratica and even partied in a 2000-year-old cave bar in Syria.

Prasanna and Sangeetha don’t feel like they have sacrificed something by making the choice to not invest in a home or have kids. “We have learnt plenty about ourselves and each other along the way. It has been an incredible journey. We don’t feel like we missed out on life,” they said.
