Nasi Kandar Restaurant In Penang Was Raided By PDRM For Not Following SOPs!

The war is not over yet!

Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) has been implemented and Malaysians are still adapting to the new norm. Most businesses are functioning at full capacity and people are allowed to travel between states.

After months stuck at home, away from friends and loved ones, many will feel the need for a reunion. We must always keep in mind of the new S.O.Ps that have been placed and maintain social distancing as the war is not over yet.

Recently, a Nasi Kandar restaurant in Penang was raided by PDRM as they did not follow SOPs set during the RMCO. 7 people were seen sitting closely together around a table meant to only seat 4, and the necessity for social distancing was ignored, as shared in a post shared on Facebook by PenangKini.

The post said: “Nasi kandar restaurant in Taman Sri Serdang, Kepala Batas was raided by police officers after a few customers failed to follow SOPs. So to all customers and business owners, please look into this matter seriously.”

Everyone plays an important part in the fight against COVID-19, remember to follower the S.O.Ps set by the government.
