SJKT Ladang Ebor student’s Keertikaa Jega Jeevan, Janany Vikneswaran, Gautam Reddy Chandran and Prathees Selvam have designed a washable three-ply mask which conforms to the World Health Organisation (WHO) standards.
The creative innovation named "Super Shield Face Mask"comes with changeable filters of herbal patches, derived from natural ingredients including ginger and turmeric.
The "Super Shield Face Mask" won the Diamond and Gold awards at the Virtual Invention, Innovation and Design Pharm-IIDEx 2020 which was organised by Universiti Teknologi Mara's pharmacy faculty recently.
Such amazing inventions are becoming a necessity as one time use face mask have become a concern, impacting everyone both economically and environmentally. The "Super Shield Face Mask" could be the eco-friendly solution we seek.
