While most of us are prepared to go the distance to realise our dreams, for one mum in Malaysia, however, all it took was an interest in cooking, and the desire to share her recipes with the rest of the world through her camera phone. With a few simple edits, she took YouTube by storm with a channel sporting over 750,000 subscribers!

We’re referring of course, to Ms Sugu Pavithra, who recently expressed her desire to meet the Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Guess what? Her wish actually came true! The couple visited the Prime Minister after attending the launch of the 50th anniversary of Rukun Negara in Putrajaya.

“Not cooking today, Pavithra?”  was the question by the Prime Minister. Having never been up close with the man, Pavithra was speechless and couldn’t find her words.

"When he asked if I had anything to eat. I was at a loss for words and only managed to reply ah, ah yes...,”  said the YouTuber.

The sensational couple attended the historic event after receiving a special invite for 50th anniversary of Rukun Negara in Putrajaya.

Sugu Pavithra from Sungai Siput, Perak had previously caught the attention of the Prime Minister, who also gifted them a camera tripod, microwave oven, rice cooker and cooking utensils. It is also worth mentioning that the Prime Minister did have a chat with the couple through a video-call previously.

If you believe in your dreams and work hard for them, the universe finds its way to make things a reality. The story Sugu Pavithra has proven that all dreams find their way to becoming a reality…if you believe in them hard enough.

Join us in congratulating Sugu Pavithra and her milestone! May there be plenty more to come.
