Photographer Alexy Trofimov was at Lake Baikal when he saw a cute little seal on the frozen lake. When the baby seal noticed Trofimov, it raised up a hand to 'wave' at him.

Trofimov managed to snap a photo of the rare seal 'wave', but that's not all. The baby seal wasn't as timid as the other seals. It was curious to find out what the photographer was doing, so it came nearer to Trofimov, allowing him to take more photos of it in close distance.

Describing it as a "rare and special moment", Trofimov was really happy with the photos.
