The new strain of virus, Covid-19 previously known as coronavirus which was emerged at the end of last year has killed more than 16,000 people and outbreak globally. 

China reported that more than 68,000 people are infected in the country. 

600 infections were reported from 30 locations. The Philippines, Japan and Hong Kong have each reported one fatality, while France on Saturday announced the first death — an elder Chinese tourist. 

In more recent updates, Egypt reported its first infection on Friday, the first in Africa.
