Suriya joins hands with director Pandiraj for Suriya 40 which is produced by Sun Pictures. Now, it has been revealed that D Imman will compose music. This is the first time Imman will be composing for a film with Suriya in the lead.

The exciting announcement was tweeted by the production house.

The film is expected to be a rural action drama, with filming set to commence from February 15. Suriya was last seen in Soorarai Pottru that was helmed by Sudha Kongara. The film was a blockbuster, and won praise by many for its powerful screenplay based on the book by former Army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath’s — titled “Simply Fly”.
