Facebook announced that they will be launching live 360 degrees videos soon. The new feature is called "Live 360" and for its debut, Facebook will be teaming up with National Geographic for a special live 360-degree experience from the Mars Desert Research facility in Utah.

The special Live 360 video broadcast will let viewers watch eight scientists simulate life on Mars and to experience on what it's like to live there for 80 days.
Facebook is already a pioneer when it comes to live videos and 360-degree videos. Therefore, the introduction of Facebook Live 360 will definitely be a step forward for the social network's future ambitions. While Facebook Live 360 will be limited at the beginning stage, the company says that more pages will get the feature in coming months.
