Nature lovers and thrillseekers love caves. Malaysia has many caves that are popular with international tourists: Mulu Caves being the largest cave chamber in the world, the painted walls in Niah Cave, the temple in Batu Caves, and the murals in Perak Cave.
Then there's the Gomantong Cave in Sabah, famous for its many bats and... cockroaches.
There are so many cockroaches in there, we doubt you'll enjoy it if you're really afraid of cockroaches.
The cave was also known to have the best bird's nest, which were exported to China for the imperial family.
Aside from the presence of these creepy crawlies, Gomantong Cave is actually a really amazing place to explore.
The cave is one of the largest limestone outcrop in Malaysia and there are orangutan sightings around the outside of the cave.
If you're not too afraid of cockroaches, perhaps you may consider going there for a short vacation?
