According to TimeandDate, the type of eclipse that has taken place in Kuala Lumpur is known as a Partial Solar Eclipse. The event (which happens when the Moon touches the Sun’s edge) begun at 11.20am on 26th December 2019. It’s definitely a thing to remember because it’s definitely not something one comes across any day.

Not only that, apparently at around 1.14pm, a Maximum Eclipse (Moon is closest to the center of the Sun) was observed in Kuala Lumpur...then returned to a Partial Solar Eclipse state at around 3.11pm. (Basically what happens when the Moon leaves the Sun’s edge.)

It was definitely an epic Christmas give for everyone- a rare annular solar eclipse, which last occurred 20 years ago.
To those who have missed this incredible rare Annular Solar Eclipse, don’t you worry because RAAGA has listed few of the amazing shots that you can take a glimpse of it. How alluring it is!
