The Klang-born shuttler started playing badminton when she was 6 years old — following her elder brother as he too, trained back then. Her sporting ambition is to win a medal in the Olympic. The girl dreams big, good for her!

M. Thinaah beat Lim Yin Fun to grab the National Championships title in Ulu Kinta, Perak. She pocketed RM14,000 in prize winnings while Yin Fun settled for RM7,000.

She teared in joy because she had finally triumphed a major title and she dedicated this win to her parents, a staunch supporter of Thinaah since Day 1.

The BA of Malaysia (BAM) will soon finalize her future tournaments but Thinaah wants to comprehend her ability and strive harder again this time.

Rooting for you M. Thinaah!
