Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas who was last seen in 2018’s Maari 2, has been admitted to ICU after suffering injuries to his stomach while shooting an action sequence for one of his upcoming  projects, Kala.

According to an Indian News channel, Tovino suffered an injury after receiving a kick to his stomach during the shooting of Kala. However, the actor chose to ignore the pain and continued to shoot for the film. He decided to seek medical help after his pain become severe. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kochi, India after suffering internal injuries.

The report added that the actor was bleeding internally, and has been moved to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital. We wish the self-made star a speedy recovery. Watch this space for more updates!
