The pandemic has truly changed the world we live in, by pushing us to adapt to new ways of living. Creativity has truly been our ally in the face of COVID-19. One shining example is a textile shop in Tamil Nadu that merged culture and technology amid the Covid-19 pandemic by having a saree-clad robot mannequin roaming their premise with hand sanitizer.

A short clip of the robot mannequin was posted on Twitter by Indian entrepreneur Harsh Goenka. A small screen can be seen placed on one of its hand while the other dispenses sanitizer.  The small screen is used identify whether there is someone in its presence as it approaches costumers within the premise.

The robot is seen to be center of attention of visitors while many taking pictures of the unique helper. We are not surprised!
