Dhanush's 'Jagame Thanthiram' release has been delayed, and the actor has also wrapped up for his next film 'Karnan', which is directed by Mari Selvaraj. Now, the first phase of Dhanush’s next movie under the direction of Selvaraghavan is in full swing. 

But the big puzzle among the fans is that is Dhanush-Selvaraghavan's film 'Pudhupettai 2'?

Fans feel that Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's reunion will be 'Pudhupettai 2' since the director had said in an earlier interaction that he is planning for 'Pudhupettai 2' with Dhanush. The recent addition of composer Yuvan in the team has given fans more hope for the much awaited sequel. Selvaraghavan will be teaming up with Yuvan for the 8th time.

We’re still waiting for an official statement from the team, if it would be a new story line or a sequel. Dhanush has worked under his brother Selvaraghavan's direction in the films such as 'Kaadhal Konden', 'Pudhupettai', and 'Mayakkam Enna', which were huge hits at the box office. But the political thriller 'Pudhupettai' portrayed Dhanush in a distinct way, which made it a timeless classic.
