The first time in the Malaysian history, a Hindu temple has been featured on a postal stamp. Sri Kandaswamy Kovil Postal Stamps are now on sale. It has been classified as “Rumah Ibadat” or "Places Of Worship".
POS Malaysia featured 5 religious institutions- a mosque, a church, a Buddhist temple, a gurdwaras and Sri Kandaswamy Kovil. It’s truly an honour to have Sri Kandaswamy Kovil on Pos Malaysia’s stamp circulation.
