Shanthesh Kumar, who is predominantly known as Santesh is a Malaysian male singer.

Santesh began his music career through stage performances since he was 7 years old. He started dabbling in music seriously in 2011 and has released 5 albums in Tamil. He grabbed the popularity among the Tamil audience via his songs from the album Tangkap Basah. His quirky lyrics and localised music elements attracted the Malaysian Tamil youths.

He began to achieve commercial success with the song "Amalina" which became popular on YouTube. Amalina created a huge platform to Santesh to shine bright among the Malay audience and it was critically acclaimed widely. He continued to feature in more Malay songs following the success of Amalina.
