Shamini Ramasamy, predominantly known as Shamini Shradha, is a very well-known local artist for her unique singing as well as her acting talent. 

This Astro Vaanavil Talent Quest'03 finalist started her journey when she was 10. Her 1st win was in a Thevaram competition. Soon she started to sing in charity shows. She then entered the Bakat Radio 6 in the year 2000. When Vaanavil announced its Talent Quest, she put her foot down and entered the competition.​ Following her victory in the competition, Shamini began to grab opportunities from both local and international projects.

Apart from singing, Shamini also ventured herself as an actress in several local projects such as Maindhan (movie), Akkam Pakkam (Series), Dejavu 375 (Series), Kadhanaayagi (Series), Black & White (movie), Oru Kalaignanin Diary (Series) and many more. Particularly, for Kadhanayagi, she was applauded critically for her potrayal as a ghost with a different makeover. Shamini also mentioned in an interview that the role was very challenging for her to perform and it needed more hardwork from her side to prepare herself mentally and physically as it involved multiple emotions and stunt sequences.

As active talent as a singer as well as an actress, Shamini has several projects which are yet to be announced and also released. Let's wait and witness the performances of this amazing talent in upcoming projects.
