Crime thriller AndhaDhun was a super hit among Bollywood fans from around the world. Starring Ayushanmnn Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte this Hindi blockbuster did well for itself in box office last year.

Now Dhanush is all set to remake this film in Tamil!

During a promotional event for his upcoming Hollywood release The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, the Maari actor let it slip and revealed his plans to remake AndhaDhun.

He went on to say that he has stopped signing remakes since 2008 but something about AndhaDhun made him want to remake the movie and he has went as far as taking the necessary measures to acquire the rights of the film.

He also said he has signed a Hindi film recently and that official announcements will be made in a week or two.

The Extraordinary Journey of a Fakir, directed by Ken Scott based on a novel by Romain Puertolas, will also be releasing in Tamil. So don’t miss out on the movie, the trailer sure does look promising!
