Scooter Vandi fame, Kash Villanz is no new name when it comes to bold ventures in the local entertainment industry. Making his directorial debut in 2015 with Iravan, Kash is set to release his second movie titled Oru Khadha Sollatta Sar (OKSS) and we at Raaga can’t help but feel excited for him.

Showcasing an interesting cast line-up featuring Magen Vikadakavi, Shivakanth, Lalu Prasad, Kim Fukazawa and Lock Up Nathan, to name a few, OKSS has definitely caused some stir among local fans following it’s 3D motion title release video.  If you were wondering why the team took the trouble to release a 3D teaser, we can only tell you that there are much CGI effects to be anticipated in the film! Kash also have said that the motion title video heavy alludes to the periodic setting, which the film will revolve around. 

With Kash helming both the movie and the music, the October-born artiste certainly has some expectations to meet with the release of OKSS, which we are expecting to be nothing short of a masterpiece.

A trusted source has whispered to us that a certain famous Kollywood playback singer has rendered his voice for one of the songs in the movie while Kollywood folk singer Chinna Ponnu have done the same for a peppy number. A few popular Malaysian singers have sung in other tracks making this a musical to anticipate.

A quick chat with the man himself revealed that the movie was shot in local venues such as KL, Kapar, Sitiawan, Taiping, while a major part of it showcases Melaka.  No other location more suitable for our first local epic film, we feel.

Besides the heat stirring locally around OKSS, the film has received recognition in Tamilnadu, India and is getting positive feedback while being gladly received by legends of Kollywood! Recently actress Radha, actress Kovai Sarala, Thadi Balaji and Erode Mahesh, launched the film’s first look poster at Vijay TV KPY setting another wave in motion, abroad. We at Raaga are proud of the growth our homegrown talents have made and would like to urge all our local artistes to never let their fire burn out.
